Lymph Drainage
Light, rhythmic massage to drain and cleanse the body’s tissues. Alleviates pain and relaxes while promoting the action of the immune system. Lymph drainage on the face and neck is an effective, healthy way to aid in the regeneration of skin. Helpful for sinuses and migraines when used in conjunction with myofascial work. When used after cosmetic surgery including liposuction, lymphatic drainage can alleviate swelling and promote healing of the tissues.
Myofascial
Gentle, prolonged stretching to release the deeper connective tissue, or fascia, of the body. Use to treat painful, chronic dysfunctions, promoting flexibility, strength and full range of motion. Can be effective for chronic painful conditions that are not successfully treated by other forms of therapeutic bodywork. This is contraindicated for anyone with bone density problems such as osteoporosis.
Raindrop Therapy
It is an aromatherapy treatment based on a theory that viruses or bacteria may lie dormant along the spine creating inflammation, which then causes disease. Raindrop Technique uses a series of highly anti-microbial oils to fight inflammation and kill the pathogens causing it. The main oils used are: thyme, oregano, wintergreen, cypress, peppermint, basil and marjoram. The oils are applied using traditional massage and drainage strokes alongside the spine. These oils applied during a Raindrop treatment can be helpful for chronic inflammatory diseases and immune system disorders. In some cases, Raindrop Therapy has assisted in the treatment of scoliosis and other spinal problems. Raindrop Therapy also promotes circulation, tissue function, and self- healing. This is a relaxing massage, with a concentration on back, neck, shoulders.
